Ingredients
- Active Dry Yeast, 1 bag
- flour type 00, 250 g
- water, 140 ml
- sugar, 1 teaspoon
- salt, 5 g
- oil, 15 ml
- sesame seeds, to taste
Method
Dissolve Ar.pa Active Dry Yeast and the sugar in the lukewarm water, then add the flour and start kneading. Add the oil and salt, working the mixture until you have a smooth, elastic and well-bound dough. Cover and leave to rise at room temperature until doubled in size, allowing enough time for the yeast to activate. Shape the dough into rings and boil them for 1 minute in salted water. Drain the bagels, brush them with a little water, sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake at 200°C for 20 minutes.
