Ingredients
- San Gennaro Baking Powder for Pizza and Savoury Dishes, 1 bag
- violina pumpkin, 400 g
- lukewarm water, 100 ml
- brown sugar, 2 teaspoons
- flour 00, 500 g
- salt, 2 teaspoons
- extra virgin olive oil, 2 teaspoons
- lemon juice, 1
Method
Cut the pumpkin into pieces, remove the skin, and steam it. When it becomes soft, blend it and let it cool slightly.
Separately, dissolve the brown sugar in 100 ml of lukewarm water.
In a large bowl, combine the S.Gennaro Ar.pa yeast, flour, the lukewarm water with dissolved sugar, the pumpkin purée, the juice on 1 lemon, extra virgin olive oil, and salt.
Knead everything together. If the dough feels too firm, add a bit of water until you get a smooth, even texture. Once kneaded, form a ball and divide it into 10 equal pieces.
Brush the small dough balls with a mixture of oil and water and bake them in a preheated oven at 200 °C for 30 minutes.
