Ingredients

  1. Sweetened Cocoa Powder, 75 g
  2. Lela Vanilla Baking Powder, 1 bag
  3. sugar, 350 g
  4. grated coconut, 180 g
  5. butter, 150 g
  6. eggs, 3
  7. flour (type 0), 600 g

Method

To make coconut cookies, first place the flour and the sweetened soluble cocoa (previously mixed with the Lela vanilla baking powder) in a mound on your work surface. 

Make a well in the center and add the sugar, eggs, 150 g of grated coconut, and the butter at room temperature. 

Mix everything thoroughly until you have a smooth dough. 

Form walnut-sized balls, roll them in the remaining grated coconut, and place them on a greased and floured baking tray. 

Finally, bake the cookies at 180 °C (356 °F) for about 20 minutes.
